The optometrists at First Eye Care provide treatment for most eye diseases and eye injuries. Our office also provides all types of prescription eyewear and contact lenses.

The doctors at First Eye Care are licensed as Therapeutic Optometrists. An optometrist is a health care professional who has earned a Doctor of Optometry Degree (O.D.) after completing a course of study at an an approved college of optometry.
Craig Thomas, O.D. is from Houston, Texas. He graduated from Dallas' Skyline High School in 1977and earned his Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Houston in 1982.
Dr. Thomas earned his Doctor of Optometry Degree from the University of Houston College of Optometry in 1983. He has also undergone additional training specific to treating patients with glaucoma and is licensed as an Optometric Glaucoma Specialist.
Dr. Thomas has practiced continuously in Dallas, Texas for the past 39 years. A noted consultant, lecturer and author, Dr. Thomas frequently travels the country to educate other optometrists on the latest trends, techniques and technologies used in the profession of optometry.
His professional accomplishments include being a member of the American Optometric Association for 43 years and being named Optometrist of the year by the Texas Optometric Association in 2001.
Aureyelle Stewart Lee, O.D. received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Biological Sciences from Southern Methodist University in 2004. Dr. Lee earned her Doctor of Optometry Degree from the University of Houston College of Optometry in 2008.
Michael Burton, O.D. is from Longview, Texas. He graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Microbiology in 1980.
Dr. Burton earned his Doctor of Optometry Degree from the University of Houston College of Optometry in 1984. He has also undergone additional training specific to treating patients with glaucoma and is licensed as an Optometric Glaucoma Specialist.
